Born in 1979, Sinem Islamoglu started to perform as a Jazz Vocalist with Aykut Kalpak Jazz Orchestra at age 15, followed by similar appearances with numerous distinguished musicians. Sinem has also a degree in Stage and Performing Arts from Bilkent University in 2003 and is a regular performer at Ankara Theater of Art.
Among the awards she has won:
• People’s choice at 8th Nardis Jazz Vocal Contest in 2012
• Best Supporting Actress in ‘Karbeyaz’ in 2011 International Film Festival
• Sadri Alisik Theatre Award with “Bes Para Etmez Varyete” Musical Play in 2014
